Before you run it

macOS

Builds that are not yet notarized show “cannot be opened because the developer cannot be verified”. Right-click the app, choose Open, then Open again. Universal builds run on Apple Silicon and Intel.

Windows

SmartScreen may show “Windows protected your PC” on a release without an established reputation. Click More info → Run anyway. The .msi and setup .exe install the same app.

Linux

Use the package for your distribution where one exists. The AppImage runs anywhere:

chmod +x ./<file>.AppImage
./<file>.AppImage

Verify a download

Where a release publishes a SHA256SUMS file, put it next to the download and run:
